Are you up for the challenge?
The Jabulani Challenge is a spectacular 43km (or 23km) bush run or trailwalk in the heart of Sydney's northern suburbs.
For the serious bush runner, the 43km event offers a challenging course along the lines of the Oxfam or 6ft Track.
For the more casual runners, families and school kids the 23km is a really fun event that caters for a wide range of groups, and is more along the lines of the Great Nosh Footrace. While it is "long enough to keep you honest" it is achievable for most people and is a great community event.
...and for a great cause
The Jabulani Challenge is fundraising event for the Stellenbosch Community Development Programme (SCDP), a local community run charity supporting the Kyamandi school in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
95% of funds raised go directly to the Stellenbosch Community Development Programme (SCDP), a local community run charity supporting the Kyamandi School in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
The SCDP is run by volunteers and feeds 1,000 children at the school every day to help promote effective learning.
Few things have more impact on a child's ability to survive, learn effectively and escape a life of poverty than nutrition"
Last year we raised $25,000 which fed 300 children for a year and funded a number of educational programs.
